The practical Tropic Marin® Original Balling Refill Set is used to refill the Tropic Marin® Original Balling Liquid Set by dissolving each bag in 5 liters of water WITHOUT WEIGHING.

  • The set consists of three easily soluble salt mixtures A, B and C according to the well-known balling method for 5 l solution each.

  • This is the only way to completely balance the supply of the accompanying ions sodium and chloride and thus maintain the ionic balance in the water.

  • No weighing of the individual components necessary

  • The solutions can be used immediately after dissolution and can be kept for a longer period of time.

  • Easy to use: same dosage of all three solutions.

  • Can also be used as part of the Tropic Marin® Bio-Actif System.

  • Suitable for an aquarium stock with soft and stony corals.

  • Suitable for both manual dosing and dosing pumps.

  • Maximum dose: 150 ml of each solution to 100 l of aquarium water per day.

​The balling method adds sodium chloride-free sea salt to the aquarium water in addition to calcium chloride-2-hydrate and sodium carbonate/hydrogen carbonate. This is the only way to balance the supply of the accompanying ions sodium and chloride and thus maintain the ionic balance in the water. This balanced calcium dosage creates the best conditions for good growth of corals and calcareous red algae.
